Reduce tension
In the modern day and age there is an influx of pain and suffering caused mainly by stress aka tension. It is not possible for a person to remove themselves from all tension causing atmospheres but it is very important that we reduce stress and manage whatever the cause is. Considering the fact that individuals are moving away from stress relievers and towards pain numbing vices like alcohol, smoking , drugs and pain killers like aderall, vicodine, morphine etc is quite concerning. There is not precedence that these vices help in the long run. Therefore we must create a healthy attitude towards life and nurture values that actually benefit us and reduces stress and tension. The major stress causing events in a persons life often come from their job, it is therefore quite important that one maintains a healthy work-life balance. This can be done in many ways the most significant of which is to leave all work related activities at work and keep it away from life at home. We should embrace the comfort that is provided at home and keep aside atleast a few hours a day to cultivate a nurturing relationship with your significant other and children. This relationship will ensure that there is a safety net to fall back into when work life gets difficult it is often quite important to vent out our frustrations in the comfort of our home to reduce stress and to keep moving.
There is no greater threat to wellbeing than a mental breakdown so it is quite essential to identify the main culprit which is causing mental distress and solve it. If there is a person who is troubling you it is necessary to distance ourselves from them and reduce interactions as much as possible. One must always prioritise themselves over others when it comes to mental health. Distress can only be solved once the inner turmoil is solved there needs to be a clear cut decision maker who stays in charge of all situations and make logical decisions even in times of never ending horrors that a person might face.
A positive mindset often puts forward a positive outcome therefore it is detrimental that one does not lose hope in sight of turmoil. Always put your best foot forward and adopt a happy go lucky mentality which may help guide your solutions for the problems that you currently face. This positive outlook creates a positive workspace around you which will help you move forward in life. It is also important that we remove ourselves from the company of negative individual and surround ourselves with like minded and positive individuals who value the relationship that you provide.
Enjoy the time that you spend with yourself: this step is one that most people forget may it be a little time spent improving our looks or some spent gaming , anything that brings happiness is one that can be done. Enjoy this time and use it to its full potential. It is very easy to be with someone else and have fun but it is better if we feel comfortable spending time alone and having fun. Go out to movies , go to a restaurant , exercise and be all around happy with your own company and this will bring about peace and prosperity when there is minimal dependency on others to provide for your happiness.
The easiest way to reduce stress is to leave everything that makes you stressed behind, this is often easier said than done but through conviction one can master the art of not caring about things that hurt you this provides a shield against others using your pain against you and manipulating you to do their bidding. Always keep yourself happy even when it may cause unhappiness in someone else but to a certain degree.
Tension reduction can also be managed through yoga and breathing exercises casually spend a few minutes a day watching how you breathe and have some mindful thinking while doing yoga. Calculate your weakness and build a strong fortitude of mind against these. Ensure that there is no interruptions to these moments. Take a night time bike ride to calm the mind and create a serene way to withdraw from your frustrations and move forward in life.
In short the time to you have is not important what is important is how this time is used. Practice ways to make yourself more happy and spend your time doing things that you actually enjoy while spending time with people who care and love you. Reduce tension by being mindful of your world view and ensure that you are surrounded by positive and appreciative people who wish for your wellbeing. Make your life worth living and manage your expectations of others and give them the same benefit of doubt that you give yourself. Live long and prosper.
